Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

These terms cover use of the Ledgerly invoicing product. By creating an account or paying an invoice generated through Ledgerly, you agree to the terms below.

The service

Ledgerly lets freelancers, consultants, and small agencies create and send invoices, accept payments, and track what's outstanding. We are not a party to the underlying work agreement between you and your client.

Accounts

You're responsible for the accuracy of invoices you issue and for keeping your account credentials secure.

Acceptable use

Plans and billing

The Starter plan is free for up to 5 invoices a month, permanently. Paid plans bill monthly and can be cancelled at any time; you retain access through the end of the current billing period.

Payment disputes

Disputes over the underlying work or goods are between you and your client. Ledgerly can provide records of invoice and payment activity but does not mediate disputes.

Limitation of liability

Ledgerly is provided as-is. We aim for high availability but are not liable for delayed payments caused by third-party payment processor outages or incorrect account details entered by either party.

Changes to these terms

We'll notify active accounts by email at least 14 days before any material change takes effect.
